The Revitalization Chicago Community News



A new generation of journalists are driving the effort to rejuvenate local news coverage and mitigate the threat to democracy. Our goal is to raise unprecedented funds to strengthen proven solutions, and eliminate long-standing injustices in coverage of journalism and practices.




Recent graduates and students presented their new Austin Harvest produce market at the permanent location this week, providing art and community to an area previously known for its gun violence. WBEZ's Jackie Kostek visited to speak to the founders of the market who outlined their purpose as more than offering food, but also creating a more welcoming culture as part of their goal.
